GRAND Commercial and Administrative Centre Opened in the Plovdiv City Centre on March 1 

EUR 7.5 million has been invested in the structure with floor area of about 28,000 square meter.

On March 1, after two years of construction work, a new commercial centre called GRAND opened in the centre of the city of Plovdiv, on Kapitan Raycho Street. This modern building with floor area of 27,532 square meter accommodates 200 shops, 40 office rooms, a big hypermarket under the name of Sani, a branch of First Investment Bank, children’s entertainment centre, coffee shop and four fast food sites, a night club and underground parking with 160 parking lots. The roofing is planned to be grassed and made into panoramic terrace with area of 1200 square meter. Various cultural and sports events will take place there. By putting this structure into operation some 1000 new jobs were created. This investment amounting to EUR 7.5 million has been fulfilled by PT Holding PLC and the Association of Traders in Plovdiv.

It is the biggest large-scale structure out of three newly built complexes found on the southern side of the busy Kapitan Raycho Street, what will put an end to the rag-fair in the centre of the city.
